Cable Management

For this sub-system of the multi-agent construction gantry, I designed and fabricated mounts for drag chain used to route the cables from the motors of the gantry back to the main power distribution and control board. Throughout this process, I used SolidWorks to generate designs that I then 3-D printed for the final product. For the x-axes, the mounts were designed to offset the position of the drag chains allowing for more compact parallel placement along the x-axis. Walls were implemented on the y-axis mounts to help keep the drag chain straight along the axis support beam and thus off of the y-axis belt.
